The Hurn Museum (referred to herein as "us", "our" or "we") is organised and existing under the laws of Georgia, takes the privacy of its patrons, members, and guests (referred to herein as "you", "your", or "yours") seriously and has established its Privacy Policy in respect of the confidence its clientele places in it.

This Privacy Policy governs personal information we collect from you through the Hurn Museum Website and material mailed to us by you.

This Privacy Policy does NOT govern information you post or provide to the public on your own initiative through the forum or other public means.  We are not responsible for information you make available to the public using our Website (e.g., posting personal information in the forum).  If you should require assistance to remove information you have made to the public using our Website, please use the CONTACT US form to make your request.

NOTE TO MINORS AND CHILDREN
No part of this Site is directed to children under age 13 and we will not knowingly collect personal information from any child under age 13. To register or place an order through the Hurn Museum Website, you must have reached the age of majority (which in most states is 18 years old) and have legal capacity to enter into a contract. If you are under the age of majority or cannot lawfully enter into a contract, you must advise your parent or legal guardian to review this Privacy Policy and our Conditions of Use or Sale before you register or place an order.  Should we discover or be informed that a child has registered his/her or another child's personal details, we will delete such information from our records.

All telephone calls to the Hurn Museum may be recorded for security reasons and retained for a period determined by us.

In order to place an order through the Online Museum Shop or use another Online service such as the Folk Art Forum or Offical Member's Area, you will have the option to register and create an Online account. During this process, you will be required to provide valid and up-to-date personal information, including but not limited to your real name, date of birth, phone number and E-Mail address, as well as other personal information as applicable, such as shipping address, billing address and payment details (collectively "Personal Information"). Should you contact the Hurn Museum by telephone, you may also be required to provide such Personal Information.  Additional information may also be collected by the Hurn Museum or its third party providers for security and anti-fraud purposes.

The following information will be used jointly by the Hurn Museum, Corporate House Savannah, and PayPal, who provides the Online payment portal, and your credit card company to process payment of your order:

3. The identification of the items you have ordered; and
4. The price paid for the items you have ordered.

Your credit card company is responsible for their use of your Personal Information and should be contacted directly with regard to any matter regarding their use of your Personal Information. All the information defined as your Personal Information will be used jointly by the Hurn Museum and Corporate House Savannah to ensure that your personal information is hosted in a secure environment.

The Hurn Museum is committed to protecting the security of your Personal Information. We will employ all commercially reasonable measures to ensure that details of your order and payment are held securely. In the absence of negligence on our part, we shall not be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any Personal Information you provide to us via the Website or when ordering from the Hurn Museums by telephone.

YOUR RIGHTS
If you request disclosure, correction, deletion or that the Hurn Museum stop using your Personal Information, we will deal with such requests in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. The deletion of your Personal Information or a request for the Hurn Museum to stop using it will result in the cancellation of your registration.  For any request concerning Personal Information and/or cancellation of registration to any services provided through Our Website, please use one of the mothods found under the CONTACT US area of this Website.

We may change this policy at any time with or without prior notice. When we make changes to the policy, we will update the date in this section. We will not send individual notices of changes to our policy.
